About The Position
Denny's 5th Avenue Bakery is currently hiring friendly faces to work in our retail bakery. Responsible for providing superior guest services in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This position is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders and payments, and creating a positive energetic atmosphere for the guest.
Requirements
- Restaurant, retail or guest service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the look and feel of a well-run store.
- Being resilient under pressure.
- Guest Service/Shift work.
- Welcomes guests into the store.
- Takes guest orders and payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Prepares beverages and serves bakery products according to Denny's 5th Avenue Bakery policies and procedures.
- Develops personal ongoing relationships with customers.
- Floats between counter sales, guest service or wherever help is needed.
- Manages cash drawers and follows all cash handling policies and procedures.
- Ensure floors are clean and free of debris.
- Stocks and organize the store as needed.
- Ensures dining area is clean, free of debris and well maintained
- Prepares product for later shifts.
