About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers select automotive parts and solutions, and support store sales and operations. Associates assist with product recommendations and automotive advice, maintain merchandise and inventory, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles. They work with managers and teammates to maintain a productive store environment and follow safety policies, including using required personal protective equipment. The role requires schedule availability that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.

• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
