About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role includes assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, supporting sales and store performance, maintaining inventory and store operations, and contributing to a positive, knowledgeable team environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to stay informed about parts, tools, and promotions, and diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, and the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Nice To Haves

• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment; assist teammates and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Follow structured processes to complete tasks efficiently, comply with company safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use AutoZone systems to stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
