Retail Sales Associate
About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple areas to meet business needs. Associates support a positive store culture, accurately process purchases and returns, promote credit and loyalty programs, prepare merchandise for the sales floor, and help maintain store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction standards. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
