About The Position

AutoZone's store teams deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support store operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, contribute to sales and store performance, and help maintain a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions, learning about automotive parts and promotions, and following operational and safety procedures. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
