About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, offer automotive advice, support sales, and help maintain store operations. In this role, you will deliver customer service, recommend products and services, and help create a knowledgeable, positive retail environment. The position also involves staying current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions; assisting customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations; and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
