Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store performance while maintaining inventory, assisting with product selection, and providing automotive advice. Associates work with teammates and managers to support daily store operations and create a positive retail environment. They use AutoZone systems to build product knowledge and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires lifting, loading, and delivering merchandise and availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies; and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using required personal protective equipment.
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
