About The Position
EZCORP is hiring a Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service Team Member (Pawnbroker) at Value Pawn & Jewelry in Jacksonville, Florida. This customer-facing role supports sales and customer service in a fast-paced retail store, helping customers reach mutually satisfying agreements involving pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, and musical instruments. The associate helps maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful store environment. The role offers a structured career path. New employees begin as trainees in a five-week paid training program and receive a $0.50-per-hour raise and promotion to Pawnbroker upon completion. Employees may continue through a Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1 per hour, pursue promotion to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader), and later apply for Assistant Manager, which includes a six-month training program. Pay is based on experience, from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, with monthly uncapped bonus potential based on store and individual performance. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test after a conditional offer.

Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers in person and by phone.

- Process sales, loans, and extensions.
- Perform store opening and closing duties.
