About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find suitable parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, maintain well-stocked and organized inventory, contribute to sales and store operations, and help create a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates also use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The role offers opportunities for growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and help create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use established processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
