As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create standout holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. Working on the sales floor or in the fitting room, you use warmth, product knowledge, and a personal approach to make shopping memorable, build trust, achieve sales goals, and inspire customer loyalty. The role is more than cashiering: customer service, selling, teamwork, and maintaining an inviting shopping space are central to the work. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare and organize the sales floor, review sales goals, and learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions. During customer interactions, they offer a warm welcome and build friendly, personal relationships. They also merchandise new receipts, process damages, testers, and selected merchandise returns to vendors, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you. Colleagues support one another, work to improve, take pride in their work, and contribute to individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability. The position requires availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
