About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing superior service to both the internal and external customer. They are also responsible for greeting customers, cash register transactions, gift-wrapping, stocking sales floor, maintaining a clean working environment and assisting guests with their needs.

Requirements

Physical mobility, including, but not limited to, lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
Ability to clean, maintain and stock merchandise, as well as to perform gift-wrapping duties.
Basic math skills and 10-key experience preferred.
Effective verbal communication and customer service skills.
Prior money-handling experience required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school degree or equivalent, as well as through nine (9) months of on-the-job training or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Uses the equipment associated with the position, including electronic cash register, 10-key adding machine, credit card machines, ticket machine, computer and keyboard.
Communicates effectively with customers and all levels of employees.
Reviews and comprehends all necessary documentation.
Inspects and maintains areas for which responsible, as well as ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
Effectively and efficiently moves around work area.
