About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, maintain inventory, and contribute to a positive retail environment. They use AutoZone systems to stay current on parts, tools, and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following established processes and company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
