About The Position

Are you friendly, outgoing, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping people? We're looking for a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our garden center team and help create a welcoming experience for customers, especially during our busy holiday season. You don't need a background in horticulture for this role. We're looking for someone who is great with customers, comfortable at the register, enjoys being part of events, and brings a positive, upbeat attitude to work. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for 10–20 hours of weekend work and extra income before the holidays. You'll spend your time helping customers, handling sales and cashier duties, supporting events, and keeping the retail area looking welcoming and organized.

• Previous cashier or retail experience
• Experience working with customers in a service-oriented environment

• Interest in flowers, plants, gardening, or the garden center environment

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly, positive attitude and provide helpful, personalized service
• Operate the cash register and accurately process customer purchases and other transactions
• Answer customer questions and help shoppers find the products they're looking for
• Assist with events and help create a fun, welcoming experience for customers
• Help prepare merchandise, displays, and the retail area for customers
• Keep the sales floor and checkout area clean, organized, and inviting
• Assist with online orders, phone calls, and other customer requests as needed
• Help with carry-out assistance, packaging, and other customer needs
• Work with the team to support a smooth and enjoyable customer experience
