About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, providing trustworthy advice, and contributing to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role supports sales and store performance, maintains inventory and store operations, and works collaboratively with managers and teammates. Associates learn about automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently; follow safety policies and use required personal protective equipment.
• Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
• Maintain flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
