About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection, provide automotive advice, support sales, maintain inventory, and help keep store operations running smoothly. The role includes using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions, while following company processes and safety policies.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise and maintain store organization.
• Follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Follow company safety policies and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
