Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain well-stocked inventory, and support store operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will help deliver WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers, recommending products and services, and contributing to sales goals and store performance. You will work with managers and teammates to maintain a productive store environment, learn about automotive products and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The position requires a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently, follow company safety policies, and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
