About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, and support store sales and operations. The role involves providing automotive advice, maintaining inventory and store organization, recommending products and promotions, and assisting customers with vehicle diagnostics. Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
- Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
- Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
