About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find suitable automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store operations by providing product recommendations and automotive advice, maintaining inventory and store organization, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates to maintain a positive, productive store environment, follow company procedures and safety policies, and use AutoZone systems to stay informed about parts and promotions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies; and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, including using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
