Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role involves providing automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, supporting sales goals, maintaining inventory and store operations, and contributing to a positive team environment. Associates stay current on automotive products and promotions and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and schedule flexibility including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support sound financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks and follow company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
