Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining stocked inventory, and offering product advice. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver WOW! Customer Service, recommends products and services, contributes to sales goals, and supports store operations. The role involves assisting customers, collaborating with managers and teammates, restocking and organizing merchandise, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, complying with safety policies and using PPE, learning about parts and promotions through AutoZone systems, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position is part-time and requires schedule flexibility, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies; support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes and comply with company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
