About The Position

Love sports, collectibles, and talking with people? Graybo’s Sports Cards is looking for a friendly, energetic Retail Sales Associate to join our Richmond team! We’re looking for someone who can create a great experience for everyone who walks through our doors—from longtime collectors hunting for the perfect card to someone buying their very first pack. You don’t need to know everything about sports cards on day one, but you should be enthusiastic, dependable, and ready to learn.

Requirements

Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred
Understanding of the retail sales process
Friendly, approachable, and comfortable talking with all kinds of customers
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to stay organized and positive in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and willing to jump in wherever needed
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
High school diploma or equivalent

Already know and love sports cards, trading cards, collectibles, or sports in general

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and help them find what they’re looking for
Answer questions about products, pricing, features, and services
Help customers compare products and make purchasing decisions
Recommend additional products based on customers’ interests
Keep displays, shelves, and racks stocked, organized, and looking great
Stay up to date on new products, releases, and services
Share information about upcoming Graybo’s events, trade nights, and other happenings
Work closely with the Graybo’s team to provide an excellent customer experience
Share customer feedback and requests with the Store Manager
Help keep the shop welcoming, organized, and ready for collectors
