About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support store sales and operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service by assisting shoppers, recommending products and services, and contributing to a positive retail environment. The role includes supporting store operations, keeping merchandise organized, using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes, and learning about automotive parts, tools, and promotions. The position is part-time and offers opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous automotive retail experience.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated store environment.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
Complete assigned tasks using established processes and follow safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
