About The Position

As part of Lakeshore’s retail team, the Retail Sales Associate helps provide customers with an unforgettable experience in a fast-paced, changing environment. The role emphasizes courteous customer service, strong product knowledge, sales and merchandising support, store upkeep, accurate transaction processing, and teamwork. The position requires part-time availability on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and may involve working holidays as needed.

Requirements

Ability to work part-time on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Ability to climb a ladder.
Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
Occasional ladder climbing.
Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous retail experience.
Knowledge of cash register/POS systems.
Experience with customer outreach and driving customer loyalty through brand awareness initiatives.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously.
Maintain product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
Resolve customer issues or escalate them as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the sales floor, stockroom, and common areas.
Replenish stock and manage inventory on the sales floor.
Support store and team sales targets and help increase customer loyalty.
Assist with merchandising and store displays.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Participate in training programs and staff meetings.
Assist with peer training and support for new team members.
Seek feedback and actively engage in personal development.
