About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to provide WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store operations by assisting customers with product selection and advice, maintaining inventory, and contributing to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates may use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily work.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
