About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, maintain inventory, and help create a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes recommending products, services, and promotions; using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and suggest solutions; and following company processes and safety policies. Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, is required. The position is part-time.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and assist team members.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and comply with company safety policies and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
