About The Position

Sun Tan City is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate for a high-energy salon environment. The role focuses on providing professional customer service, building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending products and services. Team members are expected to meet minimum sales requirements, support salon cleanliness, and work collaboratively while following company policies and procedures. The listed base pay is $12.50 per hour or more, with performance bonuses; average earnings of $15.50 per hour are not guaranteed and depend on meeting performance and training criteria.

Requirements

Basic computer skills and knowledge.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from floors.
Ability to perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and ensure clients’ needs are met professionally.
Engage with clients, build good relationships, and understand and meet their needs.
Recommend products and services to clients.
Maintain minimum sales requirements.
Multitask by cleaning tanning beds as clients leave and engaging new clients upon arrival.
Help maintain cleanliness in tanning rooms, the lobby, restrooms, laundry, and storage areas.
Work cohesively with a team in an upbeat, fast-paced salon environment while following company policies and procedures.
Perform independently and alone during shifts when business needs require.
