About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide WOW! Customer Service and help customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice. The Retail Sales Associate helps deliver customer service, contribute to sales, and support store operations in a knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes engaging with customers, recommending products and services, maintaining merchandise, and using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment; assist team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
