About The Position

A Visionworks Optical Specialist/Retail Sales Associate is the face of the business and helps ensure a positive journey for every patient and customer. The associate learns about optics, products and services, and managed vision care, then guides patients and customers through the Visionworks experience to meet their eyewear needs. The position is part time and pays $17.25–$25.88 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.

Nice To Haves

• Related customer or patient experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work toward daily sales goals by delivering the customer and patient experience.
• Engage with patients and customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients and customers for eyewear.
• Maintain optical and product knowledge through ongoing training and development to help ensure eyewear is right the first time.
• Carry out daily store operations, including restocking inventory, merchandising, and fulfilling eyewear orders for shipment.
