About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate delivers exceptional customer service by assisting customers with shipping, printing, mailbox, and business service needs. This role is responsible for processing packages for shipment, operating various business equipment, and helping customers select the products and services that best meet their needs. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. This position requires the ability to lift up to 45 pounds as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to cross-sell and up-sell products and services.
  • Excellent packing and shipping skills or willingness to learn.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
  • Outstanding phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Dependable with a consistent work history.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all retail customers.
  • Receive, process, and prepare packages for shipment through various carriers.
  • Operate copiers, printers, fax machines, laminators, binding equipment, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Assist customers with printing, document services, mailbox services, and other business solutions.
  • Educate customers on available products and services while recommending the best-value options.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Accurately handle transactions and maintain cash accountability.
  • Answer phones professionally and assist customers with inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store environment.
  • Follow company procedures for packing, shipping, and customer service.
