About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find parts and solutions for automotive needs. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, provide automotive advice, support sales, and help maintain store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service by exceeding expectations and contributes to a knowledgeable, positive retail environment. The position includes assisting customers with automotive products and services, supporting sales and store performance, and helping keep the store organized and operating smoothly.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
