About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service, assists customers with automotive product selection and advice, and contributes to sales and a positive retail environment. The role offers opportunities for growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
