About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide frontline WOW! Customer Service, helping customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice while supporting sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate helps exceed customer expectations and contributes to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role includes customer assistance, product recommendations, merchandise restocking and organization, point-of-sale procedures, safety compliance, product learning, and diagnostic support using tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and assist team members.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
