About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining well-stocked inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers, recommending products and services, and contributing to sales and store performance. The role also involves maintaining merchandise and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, complying with safety policies, learning about automotive products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Flexible availability is required, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and help maintain a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using company processes and follow safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
