About The Position

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will work with a retail team to generate sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and help customers find technology products and solutions that meet their needs. You will build customer connections, ask questions to uncover needs, recommend complete sales solutions, and close sales using clear communication. The role also includes ongoing training and skill development in merchandising and inventory operations, outreach to interested Verizon customers by phone and text, and participation in Verizon-sponsored off-site community events. The role is based onsite at a defined location, with 40 scheduled weekly hours. The posted base pay for the location is $18.27 per hour. The posting also describes a base pay range of $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus individual commissions based on sales performance. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance. Employees may receive premium pay, including overtime, shift differential, or holiday pay, depending on the role. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to pick up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a commission-based environment.
Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions.
Customer service experience.
Spanish bilingual ability preferred.

Responsibilities
