About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for all aspects of the customer experience across retail, rental, custom, and omnichannel businesses within a store location. The role involves building customer relationships, providing sales assistance, supporting store operations, and contributing to team and store goals. Associates may have the opportunity to work voluntarily across multiple store or site locations and brands.

Requirements

• Provide customer-focused service and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
• Be willing to learn and adapt to new programs.
• Work effectively with retail sales associates at all levels and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Stand and walk for most of the work shift; frequently bend, squat, and twist; lift up to 50 lbs.; climb a ladder; and distinguish fabric patterns and colors.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of a high-performing team through trust, commitment, and a focus on results.
• Build customer relationships from greeting through post-sale contact.
• Demonstrate selling techniques for retail sales, custom clothing sales, and special occasion rentals.
• Encourage and participate in team selling and contribute to store sales volume and metrics goals.
• Assist with visual merchandising, setup, store-related projects, and merchandise stock counts.
• Operate the cash register and process sales at the point of sale.
