About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, and contribute to store sales and operations. The role involves assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, supporting teammates, and helping maintain a positive retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to keep current on products and promotions, and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise and schedule availability that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
