About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, providing trustworthy advice, and contributing to a positive retail experience. The role supports store sales and operations through product recommendations, inventory maintenance, adherence to point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and compliance with safety policies. Associates use AutoZone systems to learn about automotive parts, tools, and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and help maintain a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
