About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, maintain inventory, support sales and store operations, and contribute to a positive retail environment. The role includes customer engagement, recommending products and promotions, restocking merchandise, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, learning about parts and promotions through AutoZone systems, and using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates, follow safety policies, and use personal protective equipment.

The position requires applicants to be at least 16 years old, able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and available for a flexible schedule that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime. Basic automotive parts knowledge, bilingual Spanish and English communication skills, automotive retail experience, and ASE certification are preferred.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following established processes and company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
