Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service by assisting customers, offering automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, and helping create a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role also involves maintaining merchandise and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, learning about products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and have flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment; assist team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following company processes and safety policies, including using required personal protective equipment.
- Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
