About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, and provide automotive advice while supporting sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate contributes to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment by delivering WOW! Customer Service, exceeding customer expectations, and working with teammates. The role includes recommending products and promotions, maintaining merchandise and store organization, assisting with basic installations, and using diagnostic tools to help customers identify vehicle issues.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, handle cash properly, and follow loss prevention policies.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
