About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain well-stocked inventory, and support sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers customer service by assisting customers with automotive needs, recommending products and services, and helping create a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role also supports team members, store organization, safety, and daily operations. Associates may assist with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
