About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales and store operations by assisting with product selection, sharing automotive advice, maintaining inventory, and contributing to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates work with managers and teammates, use AutoZone systems to stay current on products and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, and weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support teammates and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use AutoZone systems to stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
