About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and help customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, support sales and store operations, maintain inventory, and contribute to a positive retail environment. The role includes recommending products, services, and promotions; using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions; and following company procedures and safety policies. The position is part time and requires schedule flexibility, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous automotive retail experience.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
Keep current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
