About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers select automotive parts and solutions, and contribute to sales and store performance. The role supports day-to-day store operations by maintaining inventory and organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and complying with safety policies. Associates stay informed about automotive products, tools, and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, and weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a productive store environment.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently using established processes and follow safety policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
