About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection and automotive advice, maintain merchandise and store operations, contribute to sales, and help foster a positive retail environment. They use AutoZone systems to stay current on parts, tools, and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The role requires flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Follow structured processes and company safety policies, using personal protective equipment as needed.
• Use AutoZone systems to stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
