About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection, offer automotive advice, maintain inventory, support sales and store operations, and help create a positive retail environment. The role also involves using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated and productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Follow structured processes and company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
