About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining inventory, and offering product advice. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service, supports sales and store operations, and helps create a knowledgeable, positive retail environment. The role includes assisting customers with automotive recommendations, recommending products and promotions, maintaining merchandise and store organization, learning about parts and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated and productive store environment, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
