About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection, provide automotive advice, maintain inventory, support sales, and contribute to store operations. The role focuses on delivering WOW! Customer Service, exceeding customer expectations, and maintaining a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates may use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment; assist team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
