About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate models customer experience practices and contributes to a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect. Responsibilities include processing transactions and merchandise, supporting merchandising and store recovery, maintaining cleanliness and organization, promoting credit and loyalty programs, and participating in safety and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns, and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain merchandising standards and follow established merchandising procedures.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and participate in maintaining the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work in multiple store areas when cross-trained, as needed to support the business.
