About The Position

AutoZone store teams deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist customers with product selection and automotive advice, support sales goals, maintain inventory and store operations, and contribute to a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The role offers opportunities for growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and contribute to a motivated, productive store environment.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
